The principle of the Thor QY-729 filter
The filter of Quantum Bionics is coated with Thor QY 729, a new material developed by QB, which shows excellent antiviral, antibacterial and deodorizing performance.
Melt-Blown technology, which is most widely used as a filter technology, is a passive fine particle filtering function by static electricity, and has weak antiviral, antibacterial and deodorizing functions.
Quantum Bionics' functional filter, Thor QY 729 FT, activates the photocatalyst through an electromagnetic field even in the absence of light such as UV. This filter maximizes the antibacterial action of copper, removes virus activity, and exhibits deodorizing performance against ammonia and hydrogen sulfide.
